called as Ashtami Rohini, or Gokulashtami. On this day we celebrate the birth
day of Lord Krishna. This festival comes on Savan mas the holiest month of the
year. This is performed on 8th day of Krshna Paksha in Hindu
Calender. This festival is refereed as Saatam Astham. In 2013 this janmastmi
festival will celebrate on two days 28 and 29 th August. Many people do vrat for this festival to get the
blessing from the Lord Krishna.
